There are seven Passion.io alternatives on this page, each read from its own pricing page on 16 September 2026, and the line that prices them all is Passion.io's own: the App Store and Google Play listing arrives on Expand, at $599 a month billed yearly or $699 monthly; Launch at $119 and Scale at $279 deliver what Passion.io calls a Passion App, opened in the browser with no download and no app store approval. Every plan also takes a PassionPayment fee, 3.9% on Launch down to 1.9% on Passion Plus, with Apple, Google or Stripe processing on top, which means a second line on every sale. The seven below, Kajabi, Mighty Networks, Movement.so, Disciple, Circle, Uscreen and a Mini App for creators, the category we call Mini Apps for Creators, price the same two routes, listing first and browser second, and what they charge is the table. One of the seven is ours; it takes the browser route, prices it from free, and sits first, marked as ours.
This page is written by Easyapp, the Mini App platform for creators, and our own plans are on the same table: Creator, free with a 5% fee on web sales, and Creator Pro at $15 a month with 0%. Four reasons to pick that row over a $119 plan: the app is yours, with your own icon on the home screen and your own domain; AI builds the first version in 2-3 minutes and it is live the moment you tap Publish, with no store listing to buy; the payment lands in your own Stripe account; and all fifteen services are in the free plan. If the part of Passion.io you want is the app your audience opens from a link, that is the row to read.
What does Passion.io cost, and what does each plan buy?
Passion.io's pricing page, read 16 September 2026, prints four plans and one fee row. Every plan includes what the page calls your own app, products and communities, chat and direct messages, standard integrations, tracking and in-app payments; the plans differ in limits, branding and the store.

Source: passion.io/pricing, monthly and yearly toggles and the plan comparison table, read 16 September 2026. The page's footnote: standard transaction, commission and tax fees apply to all payments through the App Store, Google Play and checkout, where PassionPayments is the default Stripe processing fee.
A Passion App and a native app are two different products on Passion.io's own comparison page, and the difference is the whole reason this page exists. Passion.io's page on which app is right for you, read 16 September 2026, describes Passion Apps as working through any web browser while feeling like regular apps, ready to use right away without downloads or app store approval, available on all plans, with a launch time it calls instant and payment fees it puts at 0-3.9%. Native iOS and Android apps, on Expand and Plus, are downloaded from the App Store and Google Play, take what the page calls up to 30 or more days to launch, and carry payment fees the page puts at 15-30%, meaning Apple's and Google's commission on in-app purchases. In other words, Passion.io itself sells the browser route on Launch and Scale, and sells the store route as a $599 upgrade; what the fee buys on each plan is one of those two routes. That distinction is exactly the one our Mini App vs native app comparison makes, with the technology behind each route explained.
What does a Passion.io alternative have to do?
Three jobs, and no platform on this page does all three at the same price. The first is the store listing: an app under your own name in the App Store and Google Play, which on Passion.io costs $599 a month and is priced separately everywhere else too. The second is the app from a link: the browser-based route Passion.io sells on Launch and Scale, which other platforms sell as a web app, a private app or a Mini App. The third is the business behind the app, courses with drip content, a community, a video library or a shop, and this is where the platforms differ most, because each one was built for one of those first. The table sorts the alternatives by price, and the section after it sorts them by job.
Seven alternatives, priced from their own pages
| Platform | Entry plan, monthly | Plan with the app in the stores | Fee on sales | Built for |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Easyapp, ours | Creator $0 | Not needed: a Mini App opens from a link and is added to the home screen with your own icon; Easyapp Store, on the web and as an app, is where Mini Apps are listed and found, and in-app payments through it are coming very soon* | 5% on web sales on Creator, 0% on Creator Pro at $15 a month | Content, products and services under the creator's brand |
| Kajabi | Basic $143 billed yearly, $179 monthly | Pricing page: included on all three plans; help centre: Pro, with a $199 a month add-on below | 0% with Kajabi Payments; processing 2.9% + $0.30 on Basic, 2.8% on Growth, 2.7% on Pro; 2%, 1% or 0.5% more with another processor | Courses, coaching and email marketing as one business |
| Mighty Networks | Launch $79 billed yearly ($950 a year), $95 monthly | Mighty Pro, custom pricing | 2% on Launch, 1% on Scale, 0.5% on Growth and Mighty Pro | Community with courses and events |
| Movement.so | Free $0; Base $39 billed yearly, $49 monthly | Business, $239 billed yearly, $299 monthly | 15% on Free, 2.5% on paid plans | Courses, community and coaching in a web app |
| Disciple | Branded App $599 billed yearly | Same plan; Branded App Pro $999; Organisation from $3,400 | No platform percentage printed on the pricing page | Community apps for organisations, with you listed as the developer |
| Circle | Professional $89 | Circle Plus, custom pricing | 2% on Professional, 1% on Business, 0.5% on Circle Plus | Community and courses |
| Uscreen | Starter $49 monthly, 100 subscribers | App Essentials $449 billed yearly, $499 monthly, plus $0.99 per subscriber | 10% on one-time sales on Starter, 5% above; $1.99 per subscriber on Growth | Video memberships |
Sources: each company's own pricing page, read 16 September 2026, monthly and yearly toggles both opened; Kajabi's help centre article on the branded app, read the same day. Card processing is a separate line on every platform except where the fee row says it is included. Prices are in USD, and Disciple's exclude sales tax.
Which alternative fits which job?
For the app in the stores under your name, the price starts at $143 and the listing is the expensive part everywhere. Kajabi is the cheapest published route on its pricing page, at $143 a month billed yearly on Basic, and the caveat is printed in the table: Kajabi's help centre, read the same day, still describes the app as included on Pro at $399 and a $199 a month add-on below, so ask Kajabi in writing before you sign. Movement.so puts the listing on Business at $239. Uscreen puts two mobile apps on App Essentials at $449 plus $0.99 per subscriber, for a video membership. Disciple starts at $599 for a community app with you listed as the developer, the same $599 as Passion.io Expand. Mighty Networks and Circle sell the branded app on Mighty Pro and Circle Plus without a published price. What all seven have in common, Passion.io included, is that the listing is the top plan, or close to it, and that the app is published through a developer account, which is worked through in whose account a branded app lives in.
For the business first and the app later, the community and course platforms are strong at exactly that. Mighty Networks at $79 billed yearly gives a community with courses and events inside the Mighty Networks app on iOS, Android and the web. Circle at $89 gives community and courses with a 2% fee. Kajabi Basic gives courses, coaching and email marketing as one system, which is what Kajabi is built for and priced for. Passion.io's own Launch plan belongs here too: coaching content with drip, basic communities and an AI coach at $119, with 250 users and 25 videos. If the product is a course with drip content and group chat, these are the platforms that built it, and the app is the delivery, not the product.
For the app from a link, without the store, two platforms price the route from free. Movement.so's Free plan is $0 with a 15% fee and 100 active members, and its Base plan is $39 billed yearly at 2.5%, for a web app the site says needs no download and no dealing with the app stores. Easyapp's Creator plan is $0 with a 5% fee on web sales through your own Stripe account, and Creator Pro is $15 a month with 0%, for a Mini App that holds the creator's content, products and services under their own brand, opens from a link, and is added to the home screen with the creator's own icon. Passion.io's Launch plan sells this same route at $119 billed yearly with a 3.9% fee, in Passion.io's own description of a Passion App, and its Scale plan adds the creator's own branding at $279.
Where does the difference between a branded app and an Easyapp Mini App sit?
The line between a branded app and a Mini App is the route to the phone, and the price follows the route. A branded app is published in the App Store and Google Play through a developer account, reviewed by the stores, and downloaded; Passion.io's own page puts that launch at up to 30 or more days and prices the listing at $599 a month, with the other listed apps above from $143. A Mini App, compared to that, is the creator's own app delivered on the web: the follower opens the creator's link, adds the icon to the home screen, pays through Stripe in the creator's own account, and receives notifications in the creator's name, all live the moment the creator taps Publish, with no review step and no developer account. Adding to the home screen and allowing notifications are separate choices, and support varies by device and browser.
What the store route buys is the listing and Apple's or Google's checkout; what the Mini App route buys is the same home screen icon at the price of a web subscription, with Easyapp Store, on the web and as an app, as the place where Mini Apps are listed and found, which is why a Mini App is priced from free and a listed app from $143.
Passion.io's own comparison page describes the browser route as instant, no download and no app store approval, and sells it from $119 a month; a Mini App is that route priced from free, with the creator's own icon on the home screen.
The store checkout is the one thing the browser route did not have, and it is the part Easyapp Store adds next; the Store itself is live today, on the web at easyapp.ai/store and as the Easyapp Store app, where Mini Apps are listed and found. Inside Easyapp Store, digital purchases and subscriptions go through Apple's or Google's own checkout, with saved payment details and the familiar subscription settings. On iPhone those purchases run under Apple's Mini Apps Partner Program, so Apple's commission is 15% instead of the standard 30% on qualifying purchases. Easyapp's fee is 5% on Creator and 3% then 2% on Creator Pro; Apple's or Google's fee applies separately.* The creator's Mini App stays on the web at the same link, with no separate mobile app to publish; the follower moves to the store checkout only at the moment of paying for something digital, then comes back. What the program means for creators is a page of its own, Apple's Mini Apps Partner Program for creators.
Why choose Easyapp over Passion.io
Passion.io is a real product, with 15,000+ apps launched by its own count, and the comparison above gives it its due. These are the reasons to pick a Mini App instead, each one checked against Passion.io's own pages read 16 September 2026.
The browser route, priced from $0 instead of $119. Passion.io's own comparison page describes its Passion Apps as browser-based, instant, no download and no app store approval, and sells that route from $119 a month billed yearly with a 3.9% fee. Easyapp's Creator plan is $0 with 5% on web sales; Creator Pro is $15 a month or $150 a year with 0%, and the switch pays for itself once your monthly Stripe sales pass $300.
Your own icon on the home screen, without the $599 listing. Passion.io puts the App Store and Google Play listing on Expand at $599 a month billed yearly. A Mini App is added to the home screen from a link with your own icon, at your own domain, free to connect through 31 December 2026 and a one-time $19.99 after that, and Easyapp Store, on the web and as an app, is where Mini Apps are listed and found. Adding to the home screen and allowing notifications are separate choices, and support varies by device and browser.
Live in minutes, not in 30 or more days. Passion.io's own page puts a native launch at up to 30 or more days. AI builds the first version of a Mini App in 2-3 minutes from a description or your website, and it is live at its own address the moment you tap Publish: no review step, no developer account, no store listing to buy.
Your money lands in your own Stripe account. Shop and Event take the payment straight into your Stripe account, on Stripe's payout schedule rather than ours, with Stripe's fee and our printed 5% or 0% as the only lines between the sale and you; on Passion.io the PassionPayment fee, 3.9% to 1.9%, sits on top of Apple, Google or Stripe processing.
You keep what you already have. The Link service connects your existing course, community or booking page into the Mini App, so the first week is a Mini App beside what you run today, and the migration happens one product at a time.
The store checkout is on its way, and Easyapp Store itself is already live. What arrives next is the checkout inside the Store, and the Mini App you build now is the one it lands on. Easyapp's fee is 5% on Creator and 3% then 2% on Creator Pro; Apple's or Google's fee applies separately.* Your Mini App stays on the web at the same link; the follower moves to the store checkout only at the moment of paying for something digital, then comes back.
* In-app payments through Easyapp Store are coming very soon. The launch follows technical integration and platform approvals.
If this is your situation, Easyapp is built for it
Easyapp is built for the creator who wants the app their audience opens from a link, under their own brand and icon, without buying a store listing, and what you pay for that is printed: Creator is free with 5% on web sales, and Creator Pro is $15 a month or $150 a year with 0%. All fifteen services are in both plans: Shop and Event take payments through Stripe in your own account; Member gates the content you choose; Notification sends in your name to followers who opt in, up to 100 on Creator and unlimited on Creator Pro. AI builds the first version in 2-3 minutes, and the Mini App is live the moment you tap Publish. If the product is a course with drip content, group chat and an AI coach, that is the job Passion.io is built for, and the Link service puts an existing course one tap inside your Mini App, so the two are not a choice against each other.
| Plan | Subscription | Fee on web sales, through Stripe | Fee on store sales, through Easyapp Store* |
|---|---|---|---|
| Creator | Free, no subscription fee | 5% | 5% |
| Creator Pro | $15 a month or $150 a year | 0% | 3% on the first $25,000 of monthly sales, 2% above |
Prices are in USD. Easyapp fees are calculated on sales. Stripe, Apple, and Google fees apply separately. All fifteen services are included in both plans, and connecting a custom domain is free through 31 December 2026, then a one-time $19.99.
* In-app payments through Easyapp Store are coming very soon. The launch follows technical integration and platform approvals.
What that looks like for a coach who is on Passion.io today, or pricing it: the course stays where it is while the Mini App goes up in front of it, because the Link service connects the existing course page, a booking page or a product to the Mini App. The coach announces the Mini App to the audience, watches in Reports who adds it to the home screen and who opts into notifications, moves the members-only material into Content behind Member, and sells the next program through Shop, where the payment lands in the coach's own Stripe account. Subscriptions, payment details and archives do not move automatically from one platform to another, on Passion.io or anywhere else, so the migration is one product at a time.
Where to start
Three steps, and the first two take an afternoon. Download the Easyapp app on iPhone or Android and describe your business in a sentence or paste your website address; AI builds the first version of your Mini App in 2-3 minutes. Replace the generated text and images with your own, connect your Stripe account so that Shop can take payments, mark the content that is members-only, and add your existing course or community through the Link service. Tap Publish, and the Mini App is live at your easyapp.ai address that moment; put the link in your bio and announce it to your audience. Start free on the Creator plan, and switch to Creator Pro when your monthly Stripe sales pass $300. If the question underneath all this is what a Mini App is in the first place, what is a Mini App answers it from the technology up.
If the question underneath all of this is why Easyapp at all, that page makes the whole case in one place, plans, services and prices included.
Frequently Asked Questions
Is there a free alternative to Passion.io?
Two of the seven platforms on this page have a plan with no subscription. Movement.so's Free plan costs $0 with a 15% transaction fee and a limit of 100 active members, read 16 September 2026. Easyapp's Creator plan costs $0 with a 5% fee on web sales through your own Stripe account, all fifteen services included, and notifications in your own name to up to 100 followers who opt in. Neither free plan gives you a listing of your own in the App Store; both deliver the app from a link, and a Mini App is also found in Easyapp Store, on the web and as an app.
What is the cheapest way to get an app in the App Store under my own name?
On the pricing pages read 16 September 2026, the store listing is priced at $143 a month on Kajabi Basic billed yearly, where the pricing page lists the branded app as included on all plans while Kajabi's help centre still describes it as a $199 a month add-on below Pro; $239 a month on Movement.so Business billed yearly; $449 on Uscreen App Essentials billed yearly plus $0.99 per subscriber; $599 on Disciple Branded App billed yearly; and $599 on Passion.io Expand billed yearly. Mighty Networks and Circle put the branded app on plans without a published price.
Does Passion.io charge a transaction fee?
Yes. Passion.io's pricing page, read 16 September 2026, prints a PassionPayment fee of 3.9% on Launch, 2.7% on Scale, 2.0% on Expand and 1.9% on Passion Plus, and its footnote says standard Apple, Google and Stripe processing fees apply on the relevant checkout on top of that.
How does Easyapp compare with Passion.io?
Passion.io sells a coaching and course app with communities, drip content and an AI coach, from $119 a month billed yearly, and puts the App Store listing on the $599 Expand plan. Easyapp builds a Mini App, the creator's content, products and services under their own brand, opened from a link and added to the home screen with the creator's own icon, with no store listing to buy: Creator is free with a 5% fee on web sales through your own Stripe account, Creator Pro is $15 a month or $150 a year with 0%. Passion.io's own comparison page describes its browser-based Passion Apps as instant, no download and no app store approval, which is the same route a Mini App takes; the difference is the price of that route and what sits inside it.
Can a Mini App replace Passion.io?
For the browser route, yes, and at a different price. Passion.io's own comparison page describes its Passion Apps as browser-based, instant, no download and no app store approval, available on every plan from $119 a month billed yearly; a Mini App is that same route, from $0 on Creator and $15 on Creator Pro, with your own icon on the home screen, your own domain and notifications in your name. If the product is a course with drip content, group chat and an AI coach, that is what Passion.io builds and prices for, and the Link service puts an existing course one tap inside your Mini App; if the product is the store listing, that is Passion.io's $599 Expand plan or one of the other platforms above, and a Mini App does not need it.
Do I need my own Apple developer account for a branded app?
It depends on the platform, and the answer decides who is listed as the developer. Disciple's pricing page says your app is in the stores with you listed as the developer; Passion.io's page says the Expand listing is under your name and that Passion Plus submits the app for you; Kajabi publishes the app under your own Apple and Google accounts. A Mini App needs no developer account at all, because it opens from a link and is added to the home screen, and the Apple guideline that forces one account per client is worked through in our creator platform fee data set.
